Since launching the first Master of Philosophy
教 programme in Communication in 1977, the School
offered a Doctoral program in 1993. They were
followed by five taught master’s programmes
in Corporate Communication, Journalism, New
育 Media, Advertising, and Global Communication.

We emphasize students’ development in both

the academic and professional aspects so as
to make our students well-equipped for future
challenges in this information society. Since
its establishment, the School has aimed at
training quality professional communicators and
researchers. Our School also contributes to the
industry needs of the Hong Kong community by
training professionals in communication-related
as well as other fields.
